Here we are going to discuss about how we are going to remove duplicate content in excel.
Removing Duplicate Content
As I have mentioned in my previous post that how we check duplicate content and now I am going to show you that how can we remove duplicate content easily.
I selected two names in same column and then clicked on Data and then click Remove Duplicate. Now you see Pop up screen appears and it is asking to select column.
If you have headings then also select (My data has headers) and click OK, your data will be removed.
Now in other sheet there are two columns but selected one column. Now in pop up screen it is asking to expand the selection, if you select yes then the data in same row but in second column will also be selected and both data in same row will be removed.
If you go with continue selection then only selected column data will be removed, but other data in same row will appear.
Note: Only first entry will remain and last duplicate entries will be removed.
